I wear many hats, and write from the perspectives of woman, mom, and when I am lucky, the self–irrespective of gender or roles. My words are infused with my experiences in the military, pediatric oncology nursing, psychiatry, and my life of diligent care alongside the joy and suffering of others. Through my writing, I offer small gifts of gravity, levity, and the ordinary tension that lies between. As you read, you may stumble upon any number of tender lessons carefully collected. We all have little human moments, and I believe sharing them is important.
